How to book

Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the world, attracting players of all ages to pick up a paddle and experience the fun, fast-paced game. With its rising popularity, more venues across the country are introducing pickleball courts, making the sport accessible to communities nationwide.

As an emerging sport and a new offering at many tennis clubs, booking systems are still being developed. To help you navigate this process, we’ve outlined a few simple steps to connect with your local club and start playing pickleball:

  1. Find a pickleball venue near you
Begin by identifying a nearby venue that offers pickleball, using our ‘Where to Play’ map.
  2. Contact the club
Since digital booking systems may not yet be fully implemented at all venues, the best way to confirm availability is to contact the club directly. Most clubs provide their contact details on their website or social media pages. When reaching out to the club, make sure you enquire about court availability, equipment rental options (if needed), opportunities for coaching or group sessions.
  3. Stay updated
As pickleball gains momentum in Australia, there will likely be more clubs offering pickleball and clubs are continually updating their facilities and systems. Keep an eye on your local venue’s website or social media channels for updates on court availability, new programs, or changes to their booking processes.
